The South African Institute of Electrical Engineers (SAIEE) has an annual award for the most outstanding young achiever of the year in the field of Electrical/electronic engineering. Whether such person work in large progressive companies or organisations, or in smaller dynamic ones, is of no consequence – it is the spirit of achievement, creativity and leadership that count. These rare qualities must be recognised and nurtured wherever they are found.
